Prior to founding Lift, Mr. Hinkelman worked at financial services firms Bear, Stearns & Co. where he was a Senior Managing Director running an international Client coverage group, J.P. Morgan as a Managing Director covering Banks, Bank of America / Merrill Lynch as a Managing Director co-heading Mid-Tier Bank Solutions and Mortgage Origination sales, and Fortress Investment Group as a Managing Director addressing MSR and NPL trades as well as a role at Fortress’ affiliate Nationstar / Solutionstar as an EVP focused on expanding their 3rd party business development. In the summer of 2015, Mr. Hinkelman left Fortress to raise capital for Investability and successfully managed a $25mm capital raise. Mr. Hinkelman sits on the Board of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Foundation.
